What your players will actually do in-game.

Renting a room

  1. Find a hotel blip on the map.
  2. Walk to the front desk and press E (or eye-target the receptionist if you’re using ox_target).
  3. Pick a floor, then pick a room. Unavailable rooms are dimmed.
  4. Pick how many days you want to rent for.
  5. Click Rent. The cost comes out of your bank (or cash if bank is empty).
  6. A GPS route + cone marker shows you the way to your door.

The door

Each room door has a floating [E] keycap:
  • Red — locked. Press E to unlock.
  • Green — unlocked. Press E to enter (or to lock again from outside).

Inside the room

Depending on what the admin set up, you might see prompts at:
  • Storage — your personal stash for this room.
  • Safe — a separate stash for valuables.
  • Wardrobe — opens your clothing menu.
  • Minibar — buy drinks and snacks.
Anything in your storage or safe stays yours — checking out moves it to your recovery locker, not the next renter.

Extending

Walk to any front desk in the same hotel and click Extend. Pick more days, pay, done. You can extend as many times as you want.

Checking out

At any front desk, click Check Out. The room is freed instantly, and anything left in storage or the safe goes to your recovery locker.

Recovery locker

If you forgot to grab your stuff, or your rental expired while you were offline:
  1. Walk to any front desk in that hotel.
  2. The rent UI shows a Recovery section if you have items waiting.
  3. Click Claim to get them back.
Your recovery locker is per-character and per-hotel, and it survives server restarts.

Multiple hotels at once

You can hold one room per hotel at the same time. So you can have a room in Opium Nights and a room in V Hotel — but not two rooms in the same hotel.
